Ariana Shakibnia supports the development and implementation of all research workstreams in an effort to provide actionable insights to STEMconnector members across sectors and industries.
Prior to joining STEMconnector, Ariana gained experience in both private and public sectors, working for Camper & Emirates Team New Zealand, Morgan Stanley, Kaiser Permanente, the Children’s Defense Fund, and the Democracy Alliance. Ariana brings an enthusiasm for utilizing a systems change approach to workforce development challenges, evident throughout STEMconnector’s efforts to engage stakeholders across industry, non-profit, and education sectors to collaborate on increasing STEM education and career pathways.
A native Californian, Ariana earned her B.A. in Interdisciplinary Studies at the University of California, Berkeley with a concentration on Public Health and Sociology, and a minor in Public Policy. She currently serves as co-chair for the Washington, DC JDRF Young Leadership Committee.
