National Vice President of Youth Development Operations, Boys & Girls Clubs of America
Edwin joined Boys & Girls Clubs of America in May of 2013; there he is responsible for the management and leadership of operations for the Youth Development team which supports more than 4,300 local Boys & Girls Clubs.
A passionate leader in youth development, academics and STEAM, Edwin has over 12 years of experience in non-profit leadership, and the programming and education sector; primarily focused on developing and managing programs for children in under-resourced communities. His previous work at Young Audiences, Woodruff Arts Center focused on integrated approaches to teaching art and literacy including developing brand new programs that leveraged digital media and narrative theory.
Edwin, his wife and 2 children have called Atlanta home for 14 years. He has a B.S. degree in Theatre from Radford University and a Master’s in Education in Curriculum and Instruction from Lesley University.
