Oregon State University
The College of Business contributes to Oregon State University’s reputation as an outstanding technology, science and engineering school with our research strengths in data and analytics, design thinking, and entrepreneurship embedded across all academic disciplines.
Under the leadership of Dean Mitzi Montoya, OSU College of Business has pushed its first- and second-year curriculum to include hands-on, team-based business practice from day one: our students are launching their first businesses as freshmen, two to three years earlier than other comparable business schools. We prepare our students to excel in today’s rapidly evolving technology-driven global economy, and we supply our local and regional industry partners with a profession-ready workforce.
We work to make our programs flexible and relevant to meet the needs of industry partners – in the Northwest and around the globe. We bring together students and industry to find solutions to problems faced by corporate partners in managing or growing their businesses. Through this model, industry partners have the opportunity to work with student and faculty teams as they complete projects defined by the partner. No geographic constraints exist with the program, as students and sponsors also engage virtually. Projects can come from a range of fields: accounting, business analytics, supply chain, market research, customer discovery, human resources and more.
Undergraduate programs include business information systems, entrepreneurship, finance, supply chain and logistics and international business. Our MBA programs include business analytics, innovation management and corporate finance. Our nationally top-10 ranked online degree programs give our students flexible paths to their degrees.
