Client Services Associate

About the Position:

We are looking for a dynamic, motivated, and intellectually curious individual to join our team as a Client Services Associate. This role positions you alongside a VP of client services who maintains a portfolio of clients ranging from Fortune 500 brands to national non-profit organizations and leading universities.

While primarily focused on the strategic engagement of existing members, the individual in this role will also play an important role in growing the membership base, by assisting the VP of Client Services in identifying and cultivating new members.  This position is an excellent opportunity to interact with senior level executives across the corporate, government, non-profit, and higher education sectors.  It also has the potential for growth with demonstrated success.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage client relationships ensuring that members are aware of new events and resources
  • Set up periodic check-in meetings with clients to ensure that they are maximizing their engagement with STEMconnector and deriving ROI
  • Assist in the development and execution of engagement plans that focus on client interests and needs
  • Assist with management of new invoices and accounts receivable with clients
  • Coordinate meetings with prospective clients as needed

 Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree (any discipline)
  • Relevant work or internship experience in business, sales, or account management
  • Strong MS office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) skills
  • Detail oriented and independent work style
  • CRM database knowledge (such as Salesforce.com) is an advantage, but not required
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Confidence in interacting with senior level executives
  • Goal and action orientated with the ability to work against goals, targets, and performance metrics
