The USA Science & Engineering Festival, with support from the LA Clippers, is bringing their unique brand of events to the Los Angeles area. This new event, the Clippers SciFest SoCal, will incorporate some of the successful programming USASEF has had over the last decade at our Washington, DC festivals.
The Los Angeles area is an excellent market to open a West Coast festival offering potential sponsors the opportunity to connect with local students as well as regional and national STEM organizations. LA Unified School District is the largest school district in the country and has the ability to draw tens of thousands of students to the event.
The Clippers SciFest SoCal will utilize the solid community and political relationships the LA Clippers organization has established to “jump-start” the outreach process and “buy-in” from community groups, business organizations, and government stakeholders.
This inaugural SoCal Festival will start out smaller in size and scope than the Washington, D.C. event, but will incorporate all of the successful components of the USASEF to ensure it will be a huge success. The event will kick off on Friday, March 22, 2019, with a special Sneak Peek Friday event for school groups only, and Saturday, March 23, the Expo will be open to the general public by invitation only. We expect roughly 40,000 students, teachers, and families to attend this two-day event, with nearly 100 exhibitors and sponsors inspiring attendees with their exciting, interactive exhibits and activities.
If Southern California is important to your workforce development strategy, we want to talk to you. Sponsorships will be offered in a limited amount the first year due to space requirements. The sponsor levels start at the $25,000 level and work up to the top tier of $150,000. Floor space will be the major factor in sponsor levels. Custom sponsor packages are also available.
$25,000 – 20×20
$50,000 – 40×40
$150,000 – 60×60
Additional benefits will be added during this process which may include inventory provided by the LA Clippers.
